Step into the spotlight and SING ‘Movie Soundtracks’ for Cransley in 2025!
It’s your time to shine!
Following the huge success of last year’s event, Cransley Hospice Trust are seeking ten groups or individuals who are keen to perform a fabulous song from a ‘movie soundtrack’ in front of a captive audience live on stage at The Core at Corby Cube on Sunday 16th March 2025 as part of their ‘Sing for Cransley’ event.
Groups of any size are encouraged to come together and sign up for the challenge, with individuals also welcome to apply for the first time this year. All ages are welcome to take part. The only rule is that participants should not be currently part of a professional singing group or choir… this is an opportunity for all the wannabe’s to shine!
Successful applicants will be paired up with a professional singing coach in January 2025 and offered at least four weeks of free vocal coaching over an eight week rehearsal period to ensure they are confident and show ready!
Each group is asked to pledge to fundraise at least £500 for the charity as they rehearse, with the hope that the event will raise over £20,000.
Performances on the night will be judged by the professional panel – with local and national celebrities and singing sensations amongst them. In 2024, we were lucky enough to be joined by local singing sensation, Mae Stephens!
There will be three exciting trophies up for grabs; judges choice, audience choice and the highest fundraiser. Could anyone dare to dream of scooping all three?
Applications are open now and will close on the 15th December 2024.
Please note – group entries have a limit of 15 members and participants will be responsible for sourcing somewhere to practice.
