The chance to honour a loved one with ‘We Remember’
As we approach the first anniversary of our ‘We Remember’ installations, we have been reflecting on the many names, stories and memories that now rest gently within two beautiful community spaces — and the comfort they have already brought to so many families.
Over the past year, the solid oak memorial installations at East Carlton Countryside Park and the Chester House Estate have become places of quiet reflection, shared remembrance and heartfelt connection.
Families have told us how visiting their plaque has given them a reason to come together — to pause, to talk, to smile at cherished memories. For some, it’s a moment to reminisce about happy times. For others, it’s simply comforting to see their loved one’s name immortalised in such peaceful, natural surroundings.
Now, as we mark this special milestone, we are honoured to offer you the opportunity to dedicate a memorial plaque in memory of someone you hold in your heart.
There are four options available – small or large plaques, for either one year or three years – and you can choose the location that feels most meaningful to you.
Your dedication will do more than create a lasting tribute. Every plaque purchased helps us to continue making ‘every moment matter’ for patients and families across North Northamptonshire who need compassionate hospice care at the end of life. Your support truly makes a difference.
In the coming months, we will also be holding very special in-memory services at both locations. We warmly invite you to join us at 2.30pm on Saturday 25th April at East Carlton Countryside Park, or at the Chester House Estate at 2.30pm on Sunday 17th May. With music, readings and shared reflections, these gatherings will offer our community the chance to come together, support one another, and ensure that ‘We Remember’.
These services are open to everyone, whether or not you choose to purchase a plaque and we would really love to see you there.
If you would like your loved one’s plaque to be installed in time for the services, we kindly ask that orders are placed before 31st March 2026 to allow for careful and sensitive installation.
