Go Green for Cransley during Hospice Care Week

Are you ready to GO GREEN for Cransley?

Timed alongside national Hospice Care Week Go Green will be returning from the 5th – 11th October. Our annual week-long campaign is dedicated to celebrating the vital end of life care and support that Cransley Hospice Trust provides across North Northamptonshire.

Last year, our incredible local community helped us raise an amazing £15,000. This year, we need your help to raise £18,000, a goal that will fund 28 days of direct patient care, including specialist physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and comfort items like children’s memory boxes and teddies.

NEW for 2026 – Walk the Green Way!

Join us on Sunday 11th October to Walk the Green Way between Stanwick Lakes and Rushden Lakes!

The Route: Choose a family-friendly 5K (from Stanwick to Rushden Lakes) or challenge yourself with the full 10K option (Round trip from Stanwick Lakes to Rushden Lakes and back again).

Why: to help raise enough money to support a patient and their family for an average two week stay at the inpatient unit, with therapies and children’s memory boxes.

Whether you sign up individually or bring your family, friends, or colleagues, it’s a wonderful way to support your local hospice.

💚 Help a Family Like George and Will’s

Behind our £18,000 goal are real local families who have experienced the compassionate care of Cransley Hospice firsthand.

This year, brothers Will and George generously shared their moving story in memory of their beloved mum. Reflecting on the profound care and support their family received during their most difficult moments, they channelled their grief into extraordinary action, raising over £16,000 in her memory.

Their generosity ensures that more local families receive that same vital support when it is needed most.

How You Can GO GREEN This October

There are so many fun and creative ways to get involved between 5th – 11th October:

• Wear Green & Donate: Wear your favourite green clothes for a day at work, school, or home, and text GOGREEN + your donation amount to 70460 to make a quick donation.
• Host a Green Event: Gather friends, family, or colleagues for a green-themed party or bake sale.
• Go Environmentally Green: Donate your unwanted quality goods to our Cransley Hospice charity shops.
• OR register for Walk the Green Way on Sunday 11th October!
