Hospice care is so much more than a hospice
Hospice care aims to improve a person’s quality of life and wellbeing when they have a life-limiting illness.
It includes providing information, guidance and advice, symptom management as well as social, practical, emotional, and spiritual support. Helping people live as fully and as well as they can to the end of their lives, however long that may be.
Hospice care can be provided in a hospice, in a patient’s own home or in a community setting.
With your support, we can raise funds to develop specialist end of life care, we can influence key decisions, act as a voice for our community and increase awareness of hospice care, because every moment matters.
