There are many fundraising activities you can run at home

Fundraising at home can be FUN! From indoor cinema parties, to arts and crafts with family or friends. Get creative as you like to raise vital funds for the hospice.

Arts and Crafts

Turn your favourite hobbies into a fundraiser! From paint parties to hand-made items. Involve family and friends and ask for a small donation to take part.

Afternoon Tea

Everyone loves an Afternoon Tea event. Host your friends and family for a special occasion and ask them to make a donation, or ask them to make a donation per drink or cake.

Host a ‘Go Green Day’ at School for Cransley Hospice Trust. Wear something green and make a donation.

Get your school to take part in a big bake sale. Whether the goods are home-made or purchased, ask pupils, families and staff for a donation.

Encourage pupils to read a certain amount of books and have family and friends sponsor them.

Experiencing the loss of a family member can be extremely distressing. Our online Grief Chat is a free service, alternatively you can contact the support team at Lakelands Hospice who can help you through the emotional impact of grief.

If you feel you need financial support, you should visit your local council’s website to request an assessment.

The Patient and Family Liaison Worker at the hospice is able to offer practical and emotional support including help with planning for your care following discharge from the Hospice.
