Cransley Hospice Trust’s retail shops play a vital role in raising the funds to support end of life care for people living with a life-limiting illness in North Northamptonshire.
Every purchase, every conversation, and every smile in our shops helps to make a real difference.
We’re looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor (Temporary) to join our friendly retail team to provide cover on an ad hoc basis when one or both of our two permanent retail employees are on holiday, off sick, or away for training.
About the Role:
As a Assistant Retail Supervisor, you’ll:
- Be responsible for opening, closing and smooth running of the shops when the Retail Supervisor and Retail Manager are away.
- Provide excellent customer service to shoppers and donors.
- Oversee volunteers to sort and display donated goods.
- Oversee, and operate the till systems and handle payments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shop environment.
- Support and manage the volunteers in the shop on the day.
About You:
You’ll be friendly, approachable, and passionate about supporting our charity’s work. Ideally, you’ll have some experience in retail or customer service, but importantly, you’ll bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a flexible approach.
What We Offer:
- Flexible working hours
- A warm and welcoming team
