Thank you

We couldn’t do what we do and raise the funds we need to without your help!  The time that you give makes such a difference.  However often you help out, and whatever you do to support Cransley Hospice Trust you are helping to make those precious moments better for patients and their families.

Project 200!

Our new recruitment campaign, Project 200, launched this January with an ambitious goal to welcome 50 additional volunteers and grow our active team to more than 200 members.

We hosted our first two recruitment events at the Trust office and were delighted by the incredible response. Thanks to the enthusiasm and support of our community, we’ve already welcomed 42 new volunteers to the team.

Our next recruitment event will be here at the office:

Tuesday 3rd November between 9.30am and 12pm

Thursday 5th November between 3pm-6pm

Dream Team in Action

Our Dream Team is a remarkable group of dedicated volunteers who respond to last-minute requests to bring comfort, joy, and meaningful moments to hospice patients and their families when it matters most.

From celebrating birthdays and anniversaries to organising family outings, short breaks, and special occasions, this team goes above and beyond to help create precious memories during some of life’s most challenging times.

Over the past year, the Dream Team has helped families celebrate occasions including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Easter, as well as creating unforgettable birthday celebrations for patients’ children, from age four to fourteen. With balloons, cakes, decorations, and thoughtful personal touches.

Taking to the Skies for Cransley Hospice Trust

Our incredible volunteer and supporter, Carol, recently took bravery to new heights by completing a heart-pounding aerobatic wing walk! Thanks to her fearless spirit and the extraordinary generosity of her supporters, Carol has already raised over £1,500 with match funding and further donations still rolling in. Every penny will make a meaningful difference to the patients and families cared for by Cransley Hospice.

Overwhelmed by the response, Carol shared:

“So excited to have completed one of my scariest but most amazing challenges yet! I am so overwhelmed… without all of your support and words of encouragement, I wouldn’t be able to do these challenges. From a very humbled Carol, a huge, huge thank you.”
