Cuddle for Christmas

This Christmas, give the gift of a cuddle

Make room for love this Christmas

Christmas is a time for being close to the people we love, but for families facing the darkest moments of their lives, that closeness can mean even more.

At Cransley Hospice Trust, we want every patient and their loved ones to have the chance to share those precious moments of comfort, connection and love.

That’s why this Christmas, we’re raising £15,000 to buy a special cuddle bed for Cransley Hospice.

The ‘power’ of a cuddle

Every patient deserves to feel safe, comforted, and close to those they love.

While the hospice team work tirelessly to provide round-the-clock support, there is one essential element of comfort that medical treatments alone cannot provide…

Human connection.

This Christmas, your support can help bring cuddle beds to Cransley Hospice, allowing loved ones to lie side by side and share moments of physical warmth when it matters most. As our founder, Rev Dr John Smith MBE gently reminds us:

“We can give our words, we can give our time, we can give medicine and pain relief, but patients also need comfort through physical touch, and a cuddle bed would do just that.”

Double Your Impact This Christmas

“When we give, we give local.” That is the guiding principle for long-time supporter Norwood, who is generously match-funding every donation to our Cuddle for Christmas appeal up to £5,000.

Inspired by the vital care hospices provide, he was moved to act after learning how match funding empowers an entire community.

“If it was for your loved one and you could feel the joy it brings, you’d know it is money well spent,” says Norwood.

Every pound you give today will be matched by Norwood, doubling your support to bring a cuddle bed to Cransley Hospice. Donate today and double your gift.
