Project Delivery Coordinator

The Project Delivery Coordinator will provide hands-on project stewardship, coordination, and operational support across a portfolio of service and capital development programmes and improvement initiatives.

Job purpose and role:

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week (1.x FTE)
Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 per annum
Reporting to: Head of Transformation & Commissioning
Type of Contract: Fixed Term for three years, renewable annually

CHT is a funder of palliative and end of life care services across North Northamptonshire.

The Project Delivery Coordinator will provide hands-on project stewardship, coordination, and operational support across a portfolio of service and capital development programmes and improvement initiatives. The role will strengthen delivery capacity for projects, ensuring practical progress, effective cross-team working, and robust supporting documentation.

The postholder will work under the direction of the Head of Service Transformation and Commissioning, providing day-to-day coordination and delivery support for projects, undertaking research to inform future initiatives, and contributing to the development of proposals. The role also involves stewardship of project partners, including on-site operational support, monitoring and reporting on progress, identifying and managing risks and issues appropriately. The postholder will contribute to evaluation, post-project reviews and liaise with other departments within the organisation.

Principal responsibilities and duties:

1. Project Stewardship & Delivery

– Provide day-to-day stewardship and coordination of projects as appropriate.

– Undertake practical project delivery, working with partners, contractors and suppliers where required, including on-site operational support.

– Provide reports on progress, identifying and managing risks and issues appropriately and seeking support where necessary.

2. Project Development & Business Support

– Support the Head of Service Transformation and Commissioning in the development of project proposals.
– Undertake research activity to support new project initiatives, collating information for proposals.
– Contribute to evaluation and post-project reviews.

3. Cross-organisation Liaison

– Liaise with finance, fundraising and marketing colleagues where appropriate.
– Support trusts and foundation bid development.

– The post holder may be required to work some evenings and weekends to meet business need and will receive TOIL (time off in lieu) as agreed with the Head of Transformation and Commissioning.
