Harriet’s Story

“Cransley is the type of place you can run into on a Sunday morning in your wellies in a sheer panic that ‘it’s time’, only to fall into a nurses arms in tears and be calmed down within seconds.

“It’s the sort of place that you can walk around, make yourself a tea, microwave your dinner without anyone questioning why you’re there or insinuating you’ve outstayed your welcome.

“Cransley Hospice was my home for 9 days, and a place I actually missed when it was mum’s time to leave. It was our shelter from the storm.

“I know if I could give someone else the gift of hospice care that we were given, I wouldn’t hesitate. It doesn’t need to be thousands of pounds; every donation makes an impact.”

It’s finality and uncertainty, brave faces and shedding tears. It’s short days and long nights. Living for now with the weight of tomorrow.

But it’s also love and life and celebration.

What We Do

It’s care at home, and in a hospice, care for those dying and for those around them. It’s going the extra mile, doing away with convention and remembering what really matters. It’s easing pain and bringing comfort.

Who We Support

Just as this incredible support would not exist without hospices across the UK, hospice care would not exist without you.

A gift in your will helps ensure care at the end of life is here for everyone who needs it, both now and in the future.

How You Can Help

Share Your Moment of Impact

At Cransley Hospice, it’s often the smallest moments that mean the most, a kind word, a warm drink, a peaceful space to be together.

If you or a loved one have experienced a special moment at the hospice, we would love you to share it with us. Your memory could be featured in our charity shop display from 23rd – 28th February, helping others understand the difference hospice care makes.

By sharing your story, you’re helping show why hospice care matters  and why support today ensures these moments continue for future families.

Email your moment to marketing@cransleyhospicetrust.org.uk

Hear from our community

We sat down with volunteers, clinical staff and supporters from Cransley Hospice Trust and Cynthia Spencer Hospice to talk about the importance of hospice care in Northamptonshire.

We need your support

By leaving a gift in your will you are supporting end of life care for future generations, ensuring patients and their families receive the expert care and support they need at a very difficult time in their life.

Leaving a gift in this way will cost you nothing today.

Help hospice care live on for all, for now, forever.
