It can be hard to find somewhere that we can go to truly connect and remember the memories we shared with our loved ones, particularly if they don’t have a traditional grave or a favourite place where you can visit to reminisce.
‘We Remember’ gives you a special place to gather with family and friends, to reflect together while you enjoy a picnic or a walk in glorious surroundings. Your loved one does not have to have received care from Cransley Hospice to be included on this memorial.
£245 could pay for almost 8 hours of specialist care in the Cransley Hospice in-patient unit, bringing comfort and support to a loved one in need.

Linda was sadly diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2018. Linda and her loving family received support from Cransley Hospice through the Hospice at Home service.
When the family saw the We Remember installation announced in 2025, they knew they wanted to be part of it.
“Mum had left notes and letters for me and Dad, one read: ‘I am not afraid to die, I am just afraid of being forgotten.’ – and ‘We Remember’ would give us the chance to ensure that would never happen, not just in our hearts, but in a place we could visit together to remember all the good times we shared with Mum.”

There are four different options available; small or large plaques, and for a time period of one or three years. You will also be able to select whether you would like your plaque on the installation at East Carlton Countryside Park or at Chester House Estate.

Placed peacefully on the beautiful grounds of Chester House Estate. Located in Irchester, this is a wonderful location to reflect and remember loved ones.
FAQ’s
You can choose a 12 month plaque or 36 month plaque. Towards the end of the 12/36 months you can choose to renew your plaque as many times as you like.
Each plaque purchase will be for one location only, if you would like to have the plaque at two locations please purchase an additional plaque.
You are welcome to have as many plaques as you would like to purchase (providing there is enough space on the installation).
Each plaque must be purchased separately.
There is not any set text, what you include in the comments when purchasing is what will be written. Please be mindful of others who will visit the site, Cransley Hospice Trust reserve the right to not permit the use of any message that may cause offence.
