Hospice Care Week is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the importance of Hospice Care nationwide – and the best way to do this is by getting involved with your local hospice fundraising!
Together with your support, we’re aiming to raise an incredible £15,000 during GO GREEN week to fund a better end of life experience for people with a life-limiting illness in our community…because every moment matters.
Wear something green and donate, gather a group of friends, family or colleagues and host a green party, have a green bake sale… or even go environmentally green and donate your unwanted goods to our charity shops.
Whether you’re getting involved with family, friends or your employer, there are many ways to GO GREEN. Perhaps you could offer some time to volunteer with us throughout the week, however you get involved, every moment counts.
Last year, with your help, we raised our a total £10,000 for Cransley Hospice. This year, we would love to go even further by raising £15,000! We know this is possible with your support. This amount could help many more patients and families within our community.

“Cransley Hospice has a special place in my heart.”
In May of last year, Will’s dad, Rob, was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive and terminal brain cancer. He spent his final Christmas at home, surrounded by loved ones, passing away peacefully on Christmas Day after celebrating his 54th birthday.
Rob received five weeks of compassionate care at Cransley Hospice. From nurses to healthcare assistants, every member of staff provided exceptional support. After returning home, Cransley’s commitment continued through regular visits from a dedicated family liaison officer and a palliative care nurse, offering vital emotional and practical support to the whole family.
Go Green this October and help comfort more families like Wills when it’s needed most.

The key to fundraising success is to promote your event or activity as much as possible! Use email, social media and Whatsapp to reach as many people as you can.

The ladies at Cransley Hospice were amazing from the minute we entered the front door. It didn’t feel like you were in a hospice.
It meant we could go in and enjoy the time with Mum, being her kids and not her carers.
It was beautiful the way he tucked his blanket under his chin and just went to sleep. There was no pain.
